  • Look for new items to appear on the store periodically!

Hero Lineup

Haurg is here! This Yhetee has heard the call of the Great Horn and descended the Mountains of Mourn to join in batte.
  • Haurg's abilities are nearly all magical in nature and cause his enemies to take more magical damage when hit, so group up with other magical characters to make the most use out of his power!
  • Some of Haurg's abilities require him to be up close to his target, while others can be used from range – closing in for the kill increases his damage significantly, but can leave you very vulnerable to counterattack.
  • Frozen Waste and Touch of Winter deal additional damage if used after each other – combo these together to inflict massive damage!

The following Heroes are considered free and available to all during this week:
  • Conrad the Warrior Priest
  • Zathis the Assassin
  • Skeetk the Warlock Engineer
  • Ikkrik the Gutter Runner

Note: Free to play Heroes change on a weekly basis.

Upcoming Hero: Haurg

"He'll freeze your blood, and then devour you whole." – Drulg Kineater. Haurg Frostmaw will join Wrath of Heroes next week. Take a first look at the new Ogre Hero.
Haurg Concept Art
The Mountains of Mourn are home to the Ogre Kingdoms, savage lands ruled by strength and power. The Ogres rule much of these lands, but there are some areas that even the staunchest Ogres do not venture idly. These are the highest slopes in the mountains, frost-bitten and inhospitable lands that are ruled by the Yhetee that make their homes here.
Haurg Frostmaw is known by Ogres and men alike. All Yhetee are naturally magical, exuding the cold of their homes in battle, but Haurg's connection to the ice is stronger than most. He has demonstrated the ability to control the magic and shape it to his desires, forming powerful spears and sending shards of frost hurtling through the air towards his foes.
His name, however, was earned when one foolish Ogre sought to challenge the Yhetee. After a battle, Haurg had claimed a large orc's body for his meal, and the Ogre attempted to wrench it from his grasp. Haurg merely bit down on the Ogre's arm, and within an instant, the Ogre was frozen solid. Haurg released him, and happily began munching on his prize once more.

Some tips for players new to Warhammer Wrath of Heroes

  • You can choose your Hero when you start a scenario or whenever you die.
  • Make sure you choose your Hero before you hit Respawn.
  • Hit the Respawn button once it becomes active to rejoin the battle.
  • Certain Heroes are free every week. If you like a Hero, buy it in the store via Gems or Gold and be able to use them forever!
  • Like your Hero and want to show off how powerful you are? Buy a skin variant from the store!
  • Most Heroes have several skin variants that can be purchased on the store.
  • Completing a scenario will give you experience and gold for participating. Winners get the most though, so go out there and win!
  • Teamwork is important. Use chat to coordinate and stick together.
  • Experience earned in scenarios will level your account over time. This will unlock Mastery points to customize your Heroes.
  • Tactics and Alternate Abilities are ways to tailor Heroes to your liking.
  • Up to 3 Masteries may be slotted in each Hero's loadout.
  • The Hero selection screen in scenarios tells you if any Masteries are slotted.
  • Each Hero plays differently. Learn how their abilities work together to become a master.
  • Some Heroes have abilities that will stack or aid your group. Knowing how Heroes work together will make your team better.
  • Each Hero has five abilities on different cooldown timers. The more powerful abilities will have longer cooldowns.
  • Learn your cooldown cadence and you'll be setting up ability combos in no time.
  • More than one of the same Hero on your team? Coordinate your ability cooldowns for maximum effect and damage!
  • No developers were harmed in the making of this game. (Physically that is… mentally… well…)
  • You don't have to go into battle alone. Friend some players and group up ahead of time.
  • Dying a lot? Don't worry, even the most skilled pros die a lot.
